On May 26, and 27, 2012 Pastor Randy Skeete preached three sermons at the University SDA Church, Los Angeles, CA. This is the first of the three sermons. The title of the sermon is "Do This and Live". Luke 10:25-28 tells the story of a lawyer who asked Jesus, "What shall I do to inherit eternal life?" Jesus answered, "What is written in the law? How readest thou?" When the lawyer asked Jesus about salvation , Jesus sent him directly to the law. After the lawyer quoted the law, Jesus told him "..this do and thou shalt live." Chances are that people will miss eternal life because of one thing they do not want to give up like the rich young ruler. Powerful sermon. Video:Dan Wycliffe.

On May 26, and 27, 2012 Pastor Randy Skeete preached three sermons at the University SDA Church, Los Angeles, CA. This is the second of the three sermons preached at 7PM on the Sabbath. King Nebuchadnezzar wanted to transform Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah into Babylonians (Daniel 1:1-15). He gave the four Jewish men a new Babylonian curriculum (Daniel 1:4), a new Babylonian name(Daniel 1:7) and a new Babylonian diet(Daniel 1:5). The king offered them the best that Babylon could offer. However, the best the world has to offer is not good enough for the child of God. Mind is seriously affected by what we eat and drink. Daniel understood that the prescribed diet will defile their mind and character. So "..Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's meat, nor with the wine which he drank..( Daniel 1:8). We are responsible for the influence we exert over others by our behaviors. A child is born with carnal nature. As the child grows the degree to which his carnal nature will develop or be suppressed will depend on the influence of his home. As we walk out of the house, just the way we dress will affect those who will watch. There are two invisible kingdoms on earth: the kingdom of God and the kingdom of satan. All inhabitants of the earth are under one or the other of these two kingdoms. Lives of those in the kingdom of God conform with His standard of rightousness, which is His law, which expresses His character.

3. RANDY SKEETE - HEART TO HEART


The law of God represents the abundance of the heart of God. So when we receive the commandments of God through faith in Jesus Christ, we are receiving the heart of God. He writes His law in our hearts. All God requires is that we live in conformity with the contents of His heart, His Law. That we live our lives based on the principles that flowed from the heart of God. Jesus showed a life in conformity with the heart of God. God says take my heart and live your life in harmony with my heart.

4. RANDY SKEETE - HOW ARE YOU LIVING


“Man doth not live by bread only , but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord” (Deut. 8:3) and the rest of the responses of Jesus, when He was tempted, came from a section of Deuteronomy (Chapter 5-11) that deals with the Ten Commandments which proceeded out of the mouth of God (Christ) on Mount Sinai. There is only one response that causes Satan to back up is the word of God. God spoke about a lifestyle in the Ten Commandments, a code of conduct. He told His people, ‘this is how you live, if you are my people’. A person who lives like that is protected against Satan’s worst attacks. The only safety against Satan is obedience of the law.

Pastor Randy Skeete has traveled the world preaching the Gospel. His travels had led him on a continual basis to Europe, Asia, Africa, the Carribbean, and much of North America.

Pastor Skeete's direct but loving messages have inspired both young and old to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ, but this was something that came about by his careful upbringing. As a child, Pr. Skeete grew up in the Catholic church but his mother stopped attending for fear he would become a priest.

They began attending another church, but she wasn't impressed with the level and rigor of their Bible teaching. She eventually came to know about the concept of worshiping on Saturday (Sabbath) and asked one of her friends if he'd ever heard of such a thing.

Being a Seventh-day Adventist, her friend invited them to an SDA church where Pr. Skeete continued to grow in his knowledge and love for God. He said he always wanted to be a pastor, and now he has been doing that for years, bringing the Gospel to thousands around the world.

Pastor Randy Skeete is conducting a week of prayer at the Chula Vista SDA Church, California from 6/9/2012 to 6/16/2012. This is the first sermon given on the Sabbath of 6/9/2012 during the divine service. The theme of the week of prayer is IT'S ALL LEGAL. The sermon is entitled "Two Wars, One Enemy". Satan has a kingdom(Mat 12:26) and God has a kingdom(Mat 12:28). Two kingdoms with two opposing kings. By the way we live our life we are either in God's kingdom or Satan's kingdom. The first war between these two kingdoms was in haven(Rev 12:7). The foundation of God's kingdom is His law. Satan had to attack the law in haven to recruit the angels on his side. The law of God is LOVE. Loving God is an expression of fulfilling the law. Where there is no law there is no love. "There are only two classes in the world today, and only two classes wil be recognized in the judgment--those who violate God's law and those who obey it" (Christ Object Lessons 283.3). Jesus Christ is the law in the living form. Christ was the law and the gospel. Any attempt to do away with the law is an attempt to do away with Christ. Satan's target is the law of God. Pastor Randy Skeet is conducting a week of prayer at the Chula Vista SDA Church, California from 6/9/2012 to 6/16/2012. This is the second sermon given on the Sabbath of 6/9/2012 during the divine service. The theme of the week of prayer is IT'S ALL LEGAL. The sermon is entitled "IT IS ALL LEGAL". Pharaoh set Joseph over all the land of Egypt and told him "..only in the throne will I be greater than thou". Gen 42:41,40. The throne is the highest position. God has a throne whose foundation is righteousness and judgment which stands for the law (Psalms 97:2). In the sanctuary the mercy seat represented the throne of God which sat upon the ark which contained the law, foundation of God's throne. The law of God is the very expression of God's character. Salvation is legal matter. Damnation is a legal matter. It all revolves around the law. Law requires that disobedience is punishable by death. Jesus died for us to pay the price for the sinners to fulfill the requirement of the law. When all of our life is covered by the life of Christ then we have fulfilled the requirement of the law and do not have to die. Jesus has the right to save everyone who repents and gives his life to Him. It is illegal for Jesus to save the life of someone who did not surrender his life to Jesus. It is a legal matter. ' We don't need the law' is a satanic teaching. To conquer God's kingdom and overthrow Him, Satan needs to overthrow the law of God. Psalmist says,"O how I love the law! It is my meditation all day." Psalms 119:97. We need to come to the place where we shall say "I love the law of God".

Pastor Randy Skeete is conducting a week of prayer at the Chula Vista SDA Church, California from 6/9/2012 to 6/16/2012. The theme of the week of prayer is IT'S ALL LEGAL. This is the third sermon given on Sunday 6/10/2012 at 7 PM. The sermon is entitled "A Stumbling Block". The source of sin has not changed since its origin in haven (Isa 14:13,14). The stars on Isa 14;13 refers to intelligent beings. Clouds in Isa 14:14 refers to large masses of people. Sides of the north in Isa 14:13 refer to the side of the power. All three points refer to preeminence and authority. 'I will be like the most High', this aspiration of Lucifer has not changed. There was a stumbling block for Lucifer's ambition in haven and is still is. That is the law of God. Angels and other intelligent beings obeying the law of God will not break the law of God 'Thou shalt have no other gods before me' and worship Lucifer as their god. The fourth commandment is also vital in establishing God as the creator and deserving our worship. The law of God had been a stumbling block for Satan in haven and also now on earth. He had tried to demolish it in haven and now tries to demolish it on earth through his agents, the beast of Rev. 13: 1-10 and the false prophet of Rev. 13:11-18. God has never worked with more than one group of people at a time. He had chosen the Seventh—day Adventists to safeguard and proclaim the law, the stumbling block for Satan. Seventh-day Adventists are the people of destiny. Let us hold up the stumbling block of Satan in our church and in our lives, so Satan can stumble ultimately out of existence. Do not pass this one up, this is a must see...
